A small collection of UK television news bulletins and programmes from January to May 2016 inclusive.
Raw files are off-air transport stream (.ts) recordings, as originally broadcast. Trimmed only to remove commercials where present.
All files include DVB (image bitmapped) subtitles, can be played back by VLC. The small number of recordings from digital satellite also contain text-based (Teletext) subtitles, which can also be played with VLC, and offers more easily recoverable and indexable text.
This batch is mostly the national ITV Evening News, and regional news from the Meridian area. A more comprehensive selection of bulletins follows from June.
